Golf Cart Shuttle Rides
We love giving folks a ride on our golf carts to help get them where they are going. Bristol Motor Speedway is a large facility with lots of hills and it's tough to navigate for everyone, however, we do prioritize shuttle cart rides for individuals who are disabled, elderly, pregnant and otherwise unable to walk long distances on their own.
Things To Know
Ride at your own risk! While we do provide safety training to our golf cart shuttle drivers to help prevent accidents, there are still unanticipated risks that exist which could cause physical injury to persons riding in a golf cart shuttle or a utility vehicle shuttle (UTVS). Such risks include but are not limited to the following: the vehicle overturning, a collision with a stationary object or other vehicles that are in motion, passenger horseplay, being struck by other objects, overly inebriated individuals, and falling out of the vehicle while it is either stationary or in motion.
These unanticipated risks could result in physical or emotional injury, paralysis or permanent disability, death, and/or property damage. By riding in a golf cart shuttle or UTVS, you voluntarily accept and assume all of the risks and dangers, both known and unknown, that are associated with riding in a golf cart shuttle or UTVS.
How to contact us for a golf cart shuttle ride from a campground. We can pick up passengers anywhere on Bristol Motor Speedway property including The Dragstrip, The Landings, and The Medallion Campground. We can also pick up passengers in the Pole Position Campground as well.
Your campground check in booth should have one of our cards that have a contact number on the back of it, use that number to contact one of our drivers for a golf cart shuttle ride. We will make our best effort to accommodate your request. However, we are not able to always guarantee our availability. Our ministry operates 15 golf cart shuttles and there are generally large numbers of people who need a ride.
* In addition to being picked up by a golf cart shuttle in the campground, there are also trams that will pickup and drop off in front of the Medallion and Pole Position campground entrances, the Landings, and the Dragstrip that will take you to to a central location closer on track property where it is easier to catch a golf cart shuttle ride the rest of the way over to the track.
- At this time, we are unable to accommodate wheelchair transportation. We apologize for any inconvenience but if you are camping on Bristol Motor Speedway property including the Medallion campground and require shuttle service and use a wheelchair or mobility scooter, you can contact your campground check in booth to request an ADA accessible shuttle cart pickup. Their contact number will be in your camping packet that was provided to you by your campground when you checked in.
- All parking lots on Bristol Motor Speedway property are held for up to one (1) hour after the conclusion of an event. This is for pedestrian safety, it gives everyone time to walk out to the parking lots if they are able to. It's dangerous for anyone to drive a golf cart through a large crowd of people while they are walking.
Once the foot traffic dissipates and we are given the all-clear by officials to begin shuttle cart pickups again, we will first focus our efforts on picking up fans from the information booths located outside gate 7 and gate 17. Those are the handicap accessible lines that are waiting to be taken back to the handicap accessible parking lots. After those lines are clear, we can begin picking up from all the other gates and usual pickup locations.
- Golf cart shuttle service is limited to the Bristol Motor Speedway property. We are unable to take passengers on or across any public roadways. If you have a non-emergency medical issue, we do operate a shuttle van that can transport passengers to and from local campgrounds and hospitals. We are not able to transport individuals who are experiencing a medical emergency. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, dial 911 and give them your location at the racetrack.
- Each golf cart shuttle is only able to carry a driver and up to three (3) additional passengers. This is a safety policy that both NASCAR and Bristol Motor Speedway strictly enforces. More than one golf cart can be utilized if your group has more than three (3) people needing a shuttle ride at one time.
